Vertical Axis Wind Turbine

JSI has been working closely with Arborwind from Ann Arbor MI to create a midsized vertical wind turbine.  These turbines will be 50 KW.  This size turbine is great for rural use where power is lacking or in large industrial, farm, and green house applications where power consumption is high.  The goal of JSI and Arborwind is to produce electricity for 9 to 12 cents a KW/HR.  JSI recently installed a beta version of the wind turbine at it’s down town location.
